BusinessDevelopmentCompanies.com provides independent research and educational content on publicly traded Business Development Companies (BDCs). Our goal is to help investors make informed decisions with transparent, accurate, and unbiased data.

Editorial Independence

We maintain full editorial independence. We do not accept compensation from BDCs or financial institutions for coverage, rankings, or content placement. Our analysis is based solely on publicly available data and our own research methodology.

Data Sourcing

All data presented on this site is sourced from:

  • SEC EDGAR — Quarterly and annual filings (10-Q, 10-K, N-CSR)
  • Company investor presentations — Official BDC investor materials and earnings calls
  • Company websites — Official dividend declarations, press releases, and corporate profiles
  • Public exchanges — Stock prices and trading data from public market feeds

Data is updated regularly. Each BDC profile page displays a "Last Updated" date indicating when the data was most recently reviewed.

Corrections Policy

If you believe any data or analysis on this site contains an error, please contact us. We review all correction requests promptly and will update inaccurate information with an accompanying correction notice.
